If you are a new student, new transfer student, returning or returning transfer student, the first step is to complete an online application. Continuing students (those who were enrolled in the previous term) do not need to submit a new application.

If you need help paying for college you have several options. You may be eligible for a California College Promise Grant (formerly known as the BOG Fee Waiver) or other state and federal opportunities to help you pay for your classes, books and supplies. To apply, go to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) website and follow the instructions. You can also just submit the application for a fee waiver.
The California Dream Act allows certain students who meet Assembly Bill (AB) 540 requirements to apply for and receive state financial aid. For more information on the Dream Act and AB 540 eligibility requirements, visit the California Dream Act website.
New students at Contra Costa College are required to complete orientation.
Orientation is offered online through self-paced modules where you will learn a wealth of information about programs, classes, support services, and campus policies.

For non-native English speakers and learners, an in-person class was designed as an alternative to the online orientation.
We want to meet you where you are! Let us assist you in getting an accurate picture of your English, math or English as a Second Language (ESL) skills. We want to help you choose the best classes so you can achieve your goal faster. Your success is important to us! Complete Your Placement
An 教育计划 is a map to help you identify the courses required to complete your goals. By registering for COUNS-108: Introduction to Educational Planning, you will engage with a counselor to identify your specific program of study and the most direct route from start to finish.
To register, log in to the Insite Portal. On the searchable schedule, search for Contra Costa College and look for ‘COUNS-108’ under courses.
Now that you have a plan for meeting your educational goals, registering for classes is simple.
Log into your Student Planning account located under “Quick Links” on the InSite Portal to register for classes directly from your student 教育计划. If you need help in person, visit the Welcome Center located in the Student Services Center.
